The indefatigable Kronk

As a child Kronk was bullied by neighborhood kids for how big and ugly he was.
He would go home to his mom and cry, but she always told him to stand up for himself. So one day he did, he went up to one of the kids and smacked him right in the face. The kid of course had to be hospitalized and Kronk was sent to juvy. His mother, although proud that he stood up for himself, stayed away from him. She was too afraid that she would be next. So much of his childhood was spent alone. The only comfort he had was watching spaceship gladiator tournaments.
One day he was out in the juvy yard minding his own business when Tubs McPheerson came over and started rattling his cage. Kronk turned around and started to beat the crap out of Tubs. The guards broke the fight up and started to pull Kronk away, but they were interrupted by a man standing outside of the fence. He said he would bail him out and take care of him, he needed a fighter to train. So after signing papers and payment Kronk was out the door with a strange man who wanted to train him to be a fighter.
The mans name was DuBois duMercy, and he ran an underground spaceship gladiator ring and wanted to train Kronk to become one of the best. He told Kronk that when he fought he never got worn down. His energy inside of his punches grew exponentially with each one. Thus Kronk would become “Indefatigable”. He trained hard, day and night, until was the best he could be, and he would not disappoint. He would go on to win continuosly, round after round, match after match. He was loved by everyone.
The “Indefatigable” Kronk was one of the greatest underground spaceship gladiators of the entire galaxy. That was until he was defeated and killed by his competitor, Diabolical Diablo. After the battle, Kronk was rushed to the emergency bay on the Gladiator – E ship. Kronk was on the operating table for 48 hours straight and when he came back to consciousness he realized that he lost the battle. His last maneuver had failed him. He could suddenly see it flashing before his eyes, he reached the ships arm back, getting ready for the gravitron smackdown, his signature move. He new where his target was and he was in the right spot. He moved his ships arm forward with serious force and then bam! He hit his enemy, but DD had something else up his sleeve, the reverse thruster reflector move. The move threw Kronk’s attack right back at him. It is one of the lowliest moves any spaceship gladiator could use in a fight. After realizing he lost, his streak was broken, and the fact that he was missing some of his parts he left the underground spaceship gladiator tournaments. He had a winning streak of 97 and 1 loss. DuBois wanted nothing to do with him after that loss and fed him to the dogs. Doctors were able to fit him with a cybernetic arm, eye, and liver and eventually recuperated. The loss and rejection weighed heavily on his mind.
Down on his luck, and out of a job he wondered the galaxy wherever the galactic breeze would take him. It wasn’t until exactly a year later that he encountered Dr. Little John, the leader of the Dark Flame Pirates at a local Space Pub off of the horse nebula. Kronk was arm wrestling one of the regulars for money. He was using his cybernetic arm for the match because he knew he would have the upper hand in it and have the most advantage. Or so he thought. His opponent, Sharky, snapped his cybernetic arm, disabling his strength and grip. Shocked and angry about this, he flips over the table knocking down the waitress behind him. He storms out and hides in the alley. He then notices that someone followed him out of the bar. In self defense he draws back a punch with his left arm, trembling as the figure begins to come closer to him. The shadow stops and he asks him politely to stand down and casually begins to introduce himself as Captain Doctor Robert Joe (little John) Johnson. Apparently Dr. Little John saw the fight and said that he would be willing to repair it free of charge. He also added that he could join the Dark Flame Pirates if he so chose to. He gave Kronk a location to find him to fix his arm and left.
The next day Kronk went to see Dr. Little John Johnson at the specified place and he fixed his arm. Dr. Little John also mentioned that the arm does have limits and that he should use it wisely. That was the reason he lost the fight, his arm was overused. So after a few more small words to one another the doctor started to leave. Kronk followed suit and as they walked out of the location together he decided to join the Dark Flame Pirates. He figured what could he lose in taking a chance to joining a band of space pirates.
